Caversham Lakes is a fun and safe destination for families & friends and we rely on our teams to provide a fantastic and memorable experience for all our guests. As we prepare for the 2021 season we are now recruiting for permanent staff as well as seasonal staff – most jobs start from April and our season runs until September with opportunities for off season work too.

General Jobs

  • Assisting with flow in and out of the aqua park.
  • Guide and entertain customers while on the park and ensure safety at all times.
  • Provide a warm and friendly service at our bar and café.
  • Assist in preparation of food and maintain high customer service at all times.

  • Maintain operations at car park and identify possible risks at car park.
  • Ensure a safe, hazard free, and clean parking environment.
  • Outgoing and fun person to meet and great guests and lead party activities.
  • Confident with all age groups and hosting different types of parties.
  • Responsible for checking in customers, making bookings, ensuring customers know where to go.
  • Learn the booking system.
  • Be the first point of contact.
  • Communicating with customers, organise our stock and maintain an online shop.
  • For onsite and event security SIA qualification desirable.
  • Working along the site manager to maintain all areas and deal with any maintenance issues.
  • Overseeing all water activities and providing water safety across the lake.
  • Supporting the open water swimming and stand up paddle boarding team.

Manager Jobs

  • Lead & development the aqua park team.
  • Manage safety briefings.
  • Look after all aspects of the aqua park.
  • Lead reception staff.
  • First point of contact, direction and customer service.
  • Answering phone/queries/ emails.
  • Communicating with rest of site.
  • Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives.
  • Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success.
  • Prepare budgets and ensure adherence.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
  • Be in charge of hiring personnel (DJs, waiters etc.).
  • Coordinate all operations.
  • Supervise all staff (event coordinators, caterers etc.).
  • Approve all aspects before the day of the event.
  • Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur.
  • Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports.
  • Working on relationships with Hotels, B&Bs, Taxi Firms.
  • Annual events.
  • Island Events.
  • Sporting Events.
